Automatic case erectors

The machine forms the bottom of uniform sized American type boxes automatically folding the 4 bottom flaps. The machine must be adjusted through handles with position indicators on the box dimensions to be formed. The flap folding system performance is assured by the perfect synchronous lever movements. The suction cup system, actioned by a Venturi group, picks the carton blank from the side magazine and holds it during the opening. After the forming, the box bottom can be sealed with adhesive tape by the GT50B bottom sealer or with hot melt by the GT50B-HM; the box is then sent to a manual filling station or to a pick & place packer to be than top sealed or glued. The compact dimensions allow GOLDFLEX56L to be installed in existing lines optimizing the space.

• Standard gravity magazine: about 120/130 carton blanks depending on the thickness of the box;
• PLC Siemens S7;
• Safety guards in transparent methacrylate with unique coding RFID to immediately stop the machine once opened (CE);
• Picking head with suction cups powered by a Venturi vacuum system;
• Control panels and switches ergonomically located.
